Some Things Cannot Be Denied
Of all of the millions of UFO encounters, a handful stand out as impossible to explain away. Whether it’s many credible witnesses, physical evidence or multiple radar trackings, these are the Super Stars of UFO-logy.
#1 Shag Harbor- October 4, 1967
The quiet town of Shag Harbor was awakened by an object 60 feet in diameter, hovering above the bay. It soon crashed into the water and floated there for about 10 minutes. It slowly moved away and sank, leaving behind a smelly yellow foam. The Canadian Cost Guard and several fishing boats arrived on the scene and the craft slowly disappeared into the murky water.
The next day, the object began to move across the bottom of the bay, moving out into the ocean. It was trailed by the US Navy for a distance of over 40 miles, finally stopping at a place called Government Point. It sat there, unmoving, for 3 days. A second object joined it and the two of them moved out into the ocean and disappeared.
Evidence: Over 100 witnesses. Multiple Radar Sightings. Official Reports by two Governments.
#2 The Cash-Landrum UFO Incident- December 29, 1980
Betty, Vickie and Colby Cash-Landrum were heading home near Huffman, Texas, when a UFO wobbled into sight. It was so low to the road that Vickie had to stop the car. The object drew closer, and began to belch flame. The heat blistered the paint on their car and left all three women with 2nd degree burns. Afterward it was discovered that Betty, Vickie’s mother, had also suffered radiation poisoning from exposure to the craft.
Evidence: Multiple witnesses, Personal Physical Damage, Automobile Damage Burns from intense heat and radiation.
#3 The Klondike Highway Occurrence- December 11, 1996
It began at 8:30 PM at Fox Lake, Yukon, as 6 people saw a huge craft rise from the trees. It was a classic oval shape, with a thick band of multi colored lights in the middle. Dozens of people began to stop their activities and looked up at the object, which has been estimated as being 1 mile in diameter. Noiseless and solid, it continued to travel northeast, where it crossed the Yukon Highway a half dozen times.
Evidence: Over 100 Eyewitness Accounts.
#4 Rendelsham Forest, Great Britain- December 26-28, 1980
Two US Air Force Bases were located here. At 3 AM, a 3 man patrol spotted an object pass overhead. A Security squad was sent out into the forest between the two bases. They came upon a solid object giving off what looked like flames, which the men thought was a crashed plane. The craft quickly flew off. The next night, a second patrol in the forest saw a strange disk-shaped object spitting out what looked like bits of molten metal. The object broke up into 5 smaller pieces and flew up into the air. Here, they joined several larger objects that flew in erratic patterns above the trees.
Evidence: Physical Trace Evidence, Multiple Dependable Military Eyewitnesses, Multiple Radar Recordings.
#5 Socorro, New Mexico- April 24, 1964
Patrolman Lonny Zamora is following a speeding car when he sees something come down in the desert not far from him. He takes an off road and soon discovers an oval-shaped object without windows or doors, about the same bulk of a medium-sized car. Zamora saw an unusual insignia on the side of the craft and 2 small beings dressed in white coveralls. The beings saw Zamora and left in a hurry. The craft emitted a tremendous roar as it flew away. There were three burn marks in the spot where Zamora saw the craft’s 3 landing legs.
Evidence: Physical Trace Evidence, Close Encounter of the Third Kind, Dependable Independent Eyewitnesses.
